Gemini表面活性剂18-3-18/trans-ACA光敏胶束紫外光照过程流变动力学及界面流变性研究被引量:2

研究了由Gemini阳离子表面活性剂丙撑基双(十八烷基二甲基氯化铵)(18-3-18)和反式偶氮苯-4-苯甲酸(trans-ACA)复配形成的光敏胶束新体系紫外光照过程的流变性质和界面流变性质,分别考察了光敏胶束浓度、紫外光照时间对胶束体系紫外光照过程流变性质的影响并建立流变动力学方程。结果表明:对18-3-18/trans-ACA(8mmol·L^(-1)/10 mmol·L^(-1))体系,随365 nm的紫外(UV)光照,光敏胶束体系黏弹性明显减弱,紫外光照500 s后体系复黏度减小92%;胶束浓度越大,体系黏弹性越强,紫外光照过程中体系黏弹性下降越慢;获得了流变动力学方程可表征光敏胶束弹性模量和复黏度随紫外光照过程的变化。进一步考察了稀释20000倍的18-3-18/trans-ACA(8 mmol·L^(-1)/10mmol·L^(-1))胶束溶液在不同光照条件下的界面扩张流变性。结果表明,该溶液经1 h UV照射后表面张力增大45%,界面扩张模量减小约32%,再经可见光照8 h后溶液界面流变性质可以恢复,首次证明其为界面流变性可逆的光敏表面活性剂溶液。

The photosensitive micellar system with prospect in drag reduction and heat transfer enhancement has been the research focus of science and industry.In this paper,a new type of photosensitive micellar system formed by cetyl trimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) and trans-chlorocinnamic acid(trans-CICA) was investigated.The effects of counter-ion concentration,surfactant concentration,UV irradiation time,and the position of substituent groups of counter-ion on photorheological properties were discussed.The results indicate that after UV irradiation the relative viscosity and thixotropy of micellar systems reduce obviously.At the same time,the relative viscosity of micelle systems and concentration of trans-CICA decline during UV irradiation time.The flow curves of micellar solutions before and after UV irradiation could be described by non-linear co-rotational Jeffreys model correctly.The rheokinetic equation was firstly established to describe the relationship between relative viscosity of micelle systems and conversion of trans-CICA.

Photorheologically reversible micelle composed of polymerizable cationic surfactant and 4-phenylazo benzoic acid

A photorheologically reversible micelle composed of polymerizable cationic surfactant n-cetyl dimethylallyl ammonium chloride(CDAAC) and trans-4-phenylazo benzoic acid(trans-ACA) was prepared.The effects of molar ratio of CDAAC/trans-ACA,time of UV and visible light irradiation and temperature on the rheological properties of micellar system were investigated.The results show that before UV irradiation the system with an optimum CDAAC/trans-ACA molar ratio of 1.4 forms viscoelastic micelles at 45 °C.After 365 nm UV irradiation,the viscosities of micelle systems with different concentrations at fixed molar ratio of 1.4 are decreased by 85%–95%.The CDAAC/trans-ACA(14 mmol·L-1/10 mmol·L-1) micelle system exhibits shear thinning property and its viscosity is decreased obviously with the increases of UV irradiation time less than 1 h.The rheological process during UV irradiation for CDAAC/trans-ACA(14 mmol·L-1/10 mmol·L-1) micelle proves that viscosity,elastic modulus G′ and viscous modulus G″ will reduce quickly with the UV light.Furthermore,the micelle system after 1 h UVirradiation is able to revert to its initial high viscosity with 460 nm visible light irradiation for 4 h,and the micelle can be cycled between low and high viscosity states by repetitive UV and visible light irradiations.The UV–Vis spectra of CDAAC/trans-ACA micelle indicate that its photosensitive rheological properties are related closely to photoisomerization of trans-ACA to cis-ACA.
