Random Vibration of Steel Catenary Riser Conveying Fluid Under Wave Excitation

This paper presents a frequency domain approach for the calculation of the random response of fluid-conveying steel catenary risers under random wave force.The partial differential equations of motion of the steel catenary riser under a combination of internal flow and random wave excitation are established based on a series of earlier publications.The mass matrix,stiffness matrix,damping matrix and wave loading for steel catenary riser are derived in frequency domain by using Hamilton's principle.Analysis of free vibrations is then carried out to investigate the effect of flow velocity on natural frequency.By further introducing the pseudo-excitation method,the dynamic analysis of the steel catenary riser subject to wave excitation is performed in frequency domain to see how the flow velocity affects the bending moment response of the steel catenary riser.The parametric studies on the example steel catenary riser show that flow velocity may decrease the natural frequencies and increase the dynamic response of the steel catenary riser.Moreover,the dynamic stability of fluid-conveying steel catenary risers is investigated and the critical fluid velocity is identified.

复合材料框架结构刚度几何双尺度优化设计被引量:3

航空航天结构对超轻质大跨度框架类结构提出了迫切的需求,考虑纤维增强复合材料框架结构宏观与微观的可设计性,基于结构与材料一体化优化理念,研究了复合材料框架结构宏观拓扑与微观纤维铺层参数并发优化的双尺度优化问题。以宏观管件构件内半径与微观连续纤维缠绕角度为两类独立的设计变量,建立了以最小化结构柔顺性为目标函数、材料用量为约束的双尺度复合材料框架结构优化列式,给出了宏微观设计变量灵敏度信息的求解算法。讨论并对比了单尺度微观纤维缠绕角度优化、宏观截面拓扑优化与宏微观双尺度并发优化。数值算例表明,双尺度并发优化设计可进一步发掘结构与材料的承载潜力,实现既定性能下的结构轻量化设计。

海洋柔性管道骨架层径向压缩行为的数值模拟被引量:10

为防止铺设或储运过程中出现径向压缩失效,海洋柔性管道内层设计采用互锁型骨架层。基于有限元数值分析方法,建立骨架层三维有限元模型,研究径向压缩载荷作用下骨架层的力学行为。同时将骨架层简化为圆环,推导了圆环对径向压缩刚度的解析公式。搭建了柔性软管径向压缩性能的实验测试装置,通过骨架层试件的径向压缩测试,验证了有限元模型的正确性;发现传统理论模型的误差较大。数值研究还发现,随着钢带厚度与内径比的增加,骨架层径向压缩刚度会显著增大。建立的有限元数值模型及其分析技术为柔性管道受径向压缩分析和设计提供了有效的技术手段。

Size effect of lattice material and minimum weight design被引量:2

The size effects of microstructure of lattice materials on structural analysis and minimum weight design are studied with extented multiscale finite element method(EMsFEM) in the paper. With the same volume of base material and configuration, the structural displacement and maximum axial stress of micro-rod of lattice structures with different sizes of microstructure are analyzed and compared.It is pointed out that different from the traditional mathematical homogenization method, EMsFEM is suitable for analyzing the structures which is constituted with lattice materials and composed of quantities of finite-sized micro-rods.The minimum weight design of structures composed of lattice material is studied with downscaling calculation of EMsFEM under stress constraints of micro-rods. The optimal design results show that the weight of the structure increases with the decrease of the size of basic sub-unit cells. The paper presents a new approach for analysis and optimization of lattice materials in complex engineering constructions.

Tensile Stiffness Analysis on Ocean Dynamic Power Umbilical被引量:8

Tensile stiffness of ocean dynamic power umbilical is an important design parameter for functional implementation and structural safety.A column with radial stiffness which is wound by helical steel wires is constructed to predict the tensile stiffness value of umbilicals in the paper.The relationship between the tension and axial deformation is expressed analytically so the radial contraction of the column is achieved in the relationship by use of a simple finite element method.With an agreement between the theoretical prediction and the tension test results,the method is proved to be simple and efficient for the estimation of tensile stiffness of the ocean dynamic power umbilical.

等离子硅刻蚀及其工艺参数的多尺度优化被引量:1

用CFD-ACE+和CFD-TOPO分别对容性耦合等离子体反应腔室放电和等离子硅刻蚀过程进行仿真,讨论不同射频电压和腔室条件对等离子体特性的影响.结果表明:随着射频电压的升高,离子的通量增大;在低射频电压时,离子通量随腔室压强的升高而减小,而在高射频电压时趋势则相反.用Kriging模型对影响刻蚀形貌的参数(腔室压强和射频电压)进行优化,结果表明该优化方法可以为工艺条件相近的刻蚀机设备的设计提供参考.
