The list of butterflies in Fuzhou National Forest Park was presented on the basis of investigations during 1985-2000. 10 families, 120 genera, 204 species were identified according to the classification system of Monographia Rhopalocerorum Sinensium, including 23 species of Papilionidae, 16 species of Pieridae, 7 species of Danaidae, 4 species of Amathusiidae, 25 species of Satyridae, 50 species of Nymphalidae, 1 species of Acraeidae, 5 species of Riodinidae, 32 species of Lycaenidae and 41 species of Hesperiidae.
The paper dealt with 290 species and 68 families in 8 orders (and Acari) of the insect pests on chestnut trees from Fujian Province, in which the important pests were reported briefly.
