Oversea Chinese students from Southeast Asia are an important group who come to study in China.They have their distinctive group characteristics with different cultural backgrounds of families,educational levels of Chinese and social communities.They are also characterized by their variety of ages,motivations and personalities,which can not be neglected in their Chinese learning.So it is necessary to have a survey and study of their language learning background so as to improve our efficiency of Chinese teaching.
