The synthesis focuses on the research methods and the studies on children’s progress in their first language development from early after born to fully mastering of the basic linguistic rules. A comparison between the researches of Chinese’s and foreigners’ has also been made. Tremendous achievement has been done on the researches of early language development by both oversea and Chinese researches.
This research studies the second language vocabulary learning based on the memory theory,which aims to explore the biggest difficulty of HVTC students’ in learning English and the methods for solving the problem.Interviews are carried out for obtaining detailed information.The interview shows that poor vocabulary impedes approximately 90%of the students in their English learning. Some strategies are recommended for the learners and the teachers.
